Business Developer (Fulltime)

thyssenkrupp is one of the biggest technology companies in the world. On location in Venlo they manage the material demand of their customers in the aerospace and high- technology market (a.o. semi-conductor industry) in the Benelux and Germany. Next to integrated supply chain management solutions, a part of the business is transactional sales of high grade and hard to find metals. To develop and maintain fully integrated and optimized supply chain solutions for their customers, we are now looking for a highly customer oriented Business Developer.

In this position you are responsible for

• Development of existing key-accounts. With the help of the Customer Service Representative team achieve a high customer satisfaction level;
• Development of professional and innovative supply chain solutions like 3PL & 4 PL for their customers / Key accounts;
• Perform activity based cost calculations and support proactive and competitive responses to RFQ’s;
• Develop a strong understanding of financial models, contract budget models and contract budget development;
• Identify innovative and/or digital transformation opportunities that generate efficiencies in terms of costs, time as well as quality.

• A good salary based on your education (60-70K, 40 hours/wk);

• Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administrattion, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or similar Experience;
• Affinity with digitalisation, you love to work with data;
• Good communicative skills;
• Result driven, strong analytical, flexible and accurate and problem-solving capabilities;
• Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team;
• Conceptual skills, you can think out of the box;
• High customer orientation as well as flexibility and commitment;
• Proficient in Dutch, business English and ideally in German.
