Job Vacancy: Transport Coordinator Full-time in Venray

For our client in Venray, we are looking for a Transport Coordinator who is interested in working full-time. As a Transport Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving efficient international transport logistics processes and networks.

The Transport/Carrier management is closely linked to the Control Tower, which provides end-to-end transport and supply chain services to international clients with the aim of managing and optimizing the supply chain, focusing on cost, quality, and effectiveness. We manage both 4PL and 3PL services. You will be part of the (site) transport team and report to the Procurement & Transportation Manager.

Your tasks will include: Daily follow-up of shipments with carriers and sharing status information with clients. Daily reporting to internal customer service teams and clients. Responsible for claims management within the transport team. Management and reporting of carrier performance. Evaluating and implementing transport solutions for (potential) new carriers and clients. Participating in projects as a transport representative. Testing, implementing, and documenting new transport processes in SLA/SOP. Executing improvement projects with carriers. Preparing MBRs and QBRs with carriers and clients and actively participating in these meetings.

MBO/HBO work and thinking level.

Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in logistics and transport management.

Demonstrable knowledge of all transport possibilities; specific knowledge of air and sea freight is an advantage.

Good knowledge of Transport Management Systems.

Good command of the English language.

Results-oriented, team player with a good sense of initiative and urgency.

The position is available for 40 hours per week.
