For our international client in Venlo, we are looking for a
Team Leader Cross Dock 3 Shifts
Are you a real doer who maintains an overview in a dynamic cross-dock environment? Do you get energy from managing and working alongside on the floor? As a cross-dock team leader, you are the link between operations and the team, and you ensure that everything runs safely, efficiently, and on time.
Within our Cross Dock operation, you work at the heart of logistics: speed, collaboration, and adapting are central. You will manage a team, but you will also be visible and active on the floor yourself: you will contribute to the work.
How do you do this? As a team leader, you provide structure, clarity, and motivation. You maintain an overview, make adjustments where necessary, and liaise with your senior team lead if you encounter any issues. Thanks to your approach, the operation continues to run smoothly, even during peak times and shift changes. You achieve this by:
coordinating and distributing daily tasks within the cross dock;
managing, motivating, and guiding your team on the floor;
actively participating in loading, unloading, and sorting when necessary;
identifying and resolving disruptions in the process;
ensuring compliance with procedures, safety, and quality;
Your team stands out for being a compact and engaged group of warehouse employees in an operational environment where collaboration is essential. You are the hub: visible, approachable, and clear. Through your leadership style, you know how to get people on board and keep the team motivated, even during busy shifts.
