For our international logistics client in Venlo, we are looking for a
Supervisor Transport Solutions 32-40 hours
Are you an experienced transport professional who likes to take charge, develop a team, and continuously seek improvements?
As Supervisor Transport Solutions, you will lead a team of 5 colleagues. Together, you will ensure reliable, efficient, and cost-conscious transport solutions for customers within Contract Logistics.
You will monitor the daily operations, set priorities, and liaise with customers, carriers, warehouse operations, and internal stakeholders. In case of escalations, you will maintain an overview and ensure an appropriate solution.
Furthermore, you will constantly look for ways to improve. You will analyze transport performance, identify bottlenecks, and help set up processes that are smarter, more consistent, and future-proof.
Your responsibilities:
managing, coaching, and developing 5 colleagues; monitoring the daily transport operation; resolving escalations and monitoring service levels; maintaining contact with customers, carriers, and internal departments; analyzing transport data and implementing improvements.
