Senior logistic engineer

In the role of Senior Logistics Engineer, you operate within an international setting. As an individual, you embody independence and leadership, adept at effective communication and collaboration across all levels to ensure project success. You possess the capability to propel customer implementations forward through a blend of data analysis, process design, application configuration, and automation. Your hands-on approach, coupled with a structured work ethic, allows you to actively guide stakeholders, alongside a willingness and capacity to travel (approximately 10-20% of the time).

As part of project teams, you spearhead the delivery of business requirements, aligning closely with customer expectations. You initiate and facilitate workshops involving customers, operations, and IT to delineate objectives and processes. Additionally, you craft and assess warehouse processes, evaluating their impact on overall business performance and articulating findings in a clear, professional manner. With existing operations, you excel in evaluating, designing, and implementing optimizations, leveraging:

• Data collection from internal and external sources.
• Analysis of (customer) data sets.
• Design of innovative and suitable (mechanized) logistics concepts, integrating them into operations and configuring requisite setups within warehouse management systems.
• Implementation of developed concepts within a warehouse calculation model.

Your team distinguishes itself through its international composition and the intricate nature of its projects. Your daily routine may range from orchestrating workshops with new clients to designing comprehensive warehouse processes and assessing their business impact alongside stakeholders, all while embracing the ever-changing dynamics of the field.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree;
• 3+ years' experience as a (senior) logistics engineer within contract logistics, preferably in an international environment;
• experience with implementing WMS systems (preferably BlueYonder WMS Dispatcher);
