Inventory Analyst (Fulltime)

For our client, Flex in Oostrum and Venlo, we are looking for an
Inventory Analyst (Fulltime)

For the Inventory Management Team ( 7 people ) , we are seeking an Inventory Analyst who is responsible for managing inventory by processing, analyzing, and reporting cycle count results. You have to be flexibel to work in Oostrum and Venlo .

In addition, you analyze all available information to collaborate with other departments to improve processes and thus achieve better performance.

In this role, you report to the Inventory Control Manager.

Here is an overview of what you will be doing:

• Processing cycle count results: you initiate various (cycle) counts and process, report (and present) the results to management and/or the client;
• Analyzing stock discrepancies: the Inventory Analyst analyzes stock discrepancies and, after client approval, processes them in the system;
• Identifying and resolving stock issues: if stock problems recur, you investigate. You analyze the process together with, for example, operations and jointly propose adjustments to the process to prevent recurrence of the issues;
• Creating and sharing reports: you prepare, share, and if desired, present various reports to our internal and external clients. Examples include aging reports, missing reports, and Non Nettable reports;
• Organizing Wall to Wall counts: for some of our clients, it is necessary to count the entire inventory annually or semi-annually within a week or weekend. The Inventory Analyst organizes such a count from start to finish;
• Advising on changes: in your role, you are the designated person to advise the organization regarding inventory (control) and location setup matters during physical or process changes or when implementing a new client;
• Managing location setup and utilization: the physical layout and locations of our warehouses are constantly changing. You ensure that the systematic setup remains aligned with the physical situation. You use this data to determine warehouse utilization and inform and advise the organization accordingly;
• Continuous improvement: you continuously work on optimizing your own work. You provide and receive assistance from/to your colleagues.

• Several years of experience with inventory management, conducting inventory analyses, and identifying and addressing underlying causes of inventory discrepancies within a logistics environment (ABC, fast-slow move, aging, Root Cause Analysis, etc.);

• Knowledge and experience in using WMS systems or the ability to quickly learn to use them;

• You are accurate, proactive, flexible, and able to handle the dynamic nature of a logistics environment;

• You possess excellent numerical and analytical skills as well as problem-solving abilities;
