The EMEA Control Tower in Venray delivers transport management and end to end supply chain solutions. To further strengthen their expertise, they are looking for a (Senior) Customer Advisor Supply Chain to join the Control Tower team. In this key role, you will act as the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring high quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
Here’s a glimpse of what you’ll do:
As a Customer Advisor Supply Chain, you will play a crucial role in managing customer relationships and ensuring operational excellence:
• Take ownership of the end to end order management process and ensure successful execution.
• Monitor order flow, transport status, and warehouse execution, taking action where needed.
• Identify, report, and frequently resolve logistical or system related issues independently.
• Investigate recurring issues within transport, warehouse, or system processes and help drive improvements.
• Provide customers with clear and accurate updates on order status, escalations, and claims.
• Identify structural non performance and collaborate with specialists in the Control Tower or Flex GSS to define solutions.
• Follow up with internal experts and communicate progress to customers, ensuring expectations are met.
• Manage customer expectations regarding timelines, solutions, and operational impact.
• Participate in internal and customer facing improvement and optimization projects.
• Take ownership of communication during exceptions or operational disruptions.

Function requirements
What you’ll need to have to be successful and happy in this role:
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, economics, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong communication skills, both internal and external
• Experience with international transport modes (Parcel, LTL/FTL, Air, Ocean)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of WMS and TMS systems is an advantage
• Experience in a customer service or supply chain support environment is preferred
• Structured, accurate, and proactive working style
• Service minded, with the ability to prioritize effectively
• Curious and eager to learn, with openness to explore new topics and processes
• Able to quickly assess urgency, scope, and complexity of customer inquiries
• Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus
