Transport coördinator fulltime

Transport Coordinator is working in the field of maintaining and improving efficient international transport logistics processes and networks. Transport/Carrier management is closely linked to the Control Tower, which provides end-to-end transport and supply chain services to international customers with the aim of controlling and optimizing supply chains (cost, quality, and effectiveness). We are managing 4Pl and 3Pl services. The position is part of the (site) transportation team and reports to the Procurement & Transportation Manager.

What you will do :
• Daily shipment monitoring, tracking and follow up in case of delays/ issues.
• Pro-active approach to customers, recognize and communicate issues and delays
• Shipment planning support, look for consolidation and cost saving opportunities
• Carrier performance management and reporting.
• Assess and implement transport solutions of (potential) new carriers and customers.
• Participate in projects as Transportation representative.
• Testing, implementing, new transport processes and describe processes in SLA /SOP.
• Carrying out improvement projects with carriers.
• Performing costs and benchmark analyses.
• Supporting RFQs for existing or new customers
• Preparation carrier and customer MBR’s and QBR’s and actively participating in these meetings
• Support with ad hoc transport requests various customers

Minimum of 2-5 years of work experience in logistics and transport management.

Demonstrable knowledge of all transport possibilities; specific knowledge of air and sea freight is an advantage.

Good knowledge of Transport Management Systems.

Good command of the English language.

Results-oriented, team player with a good sense of initiative and urgency.

The position is available for 40 hours per week.
