For our international client in Venlo, we are looking for a
Tender Specialist
Are you analytically strong, commercially driven, and energized by data and stakeholder management? Our client offers you the opportunity to utilize your skills in a dynamic work environment where you play a key role in developing winning bids.
In the role of Tender Specialist, you will play a proactive part within our Dutch sales department, bringing together the best of customer, operations, and sales. Translating data into a winning business case: you contribute to it.
As a Tender Specialist, you will take charge of the entire tender cycle for road transport. You will analyze customer data and tender requirements, translating them into clear starting points for a suitable transport concept. Based on your insights, you will determine the right approach together with the business development manager and ensure that all involved internal departments, such as Sales, Operations, and local planning teams, collaborate effectively on one strong proposal.
In this role, you will act as a connecting factor between the various stakeholders and monitor the progress of the tender process. You will optimize the alignment between teams, ensure a realistic and feasible operating model, and incorporate customer feedback into strategic, data-driven proposals that are both commercially attractive and operationally viable. You will achieve this by:
analyzing detailed transport data and customer conditions and translating them into strategic choices; collaborating with Sales, Operations, and local planning teams to arrive at a suitable operating model; developing and optimizing calculation models, processes, and bidding methods for consistent and accurate quotes; managing stakeholders and monitoring the tender planning from start to finish, contributing to the strategy throughout the entire tender process until the finish line.

Function requirements

HBO work and thinking level; experience in an analytical role, preferably within logistics; strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly identify connections; experience with stakeholder management and excellent communication skills; good command of the Dutch and English languages; excellent knowledge of Excel and affinity with data tools and systems.
