Supervisor (Fulltime)

The Supervisor plays an important role as part of the Warehouse Operations team in improving and managing the Export department. To this Supervisor role are reporting 3 Leads and 3 Assistant Leads as well as the other warehouse team members (approx. 15 to 25) within the department.

At the outbound department merchandize and supplies are picked/sorted/packed and shipped to our stores in Europe. As the Supervisor you oversee all processes and activities within this department and collaborate with other departments to achieve the best possible experience for our end-consumers both in store and online. You are a member of the Outbound Logistics team reporting to the Manager, Outbound Logistics. In this position your are working in shift in 4 week schedule. (early shift - day shift - dayshift - late shift).

What are your tasks and responsibilities?

• Responsible for all activities and processes within the Export department, resolves process issues within the department and communicates operations system (WMS/WCS) issues to the involved departments;
• Propose improvements related to the Export processes to increase efficiency;
• Supervise the Export team members to ensure tasks are executed in line with the operating and safety procedures and equipment is correctly used;
• Drive productivity and identifies opportunities to increase individual and departmental productivity;
• Partner and collaborate with all warehouse Supervisors to ensure overarching targets and goals of Warehouse Operations are achieved;
• Responsible for the staffing of the department, including temporary staffing, based on the (daily) volumes and business requirements/needs;
• Train, motivate, and develop the Export team to drive performance and achieve targets, this includes performance management
• Manage absenteeism within the department;
• Prepare and present accurate, well supported analyses and reports related to Export to support the business;
• Responsible for the inventory movements for Export and communication to related departments;
• Ensure compliances with Health and Safety regulations and other regulations within the Service Center.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related discipline;
• Minimum 3 years’ distribution or warehouse experience, preferable in the field of omnichannel fulfillment;
• Knowledge of warehouse processes and warehouse management systems;
• Experience in training, motivating, and developing team members;
• Experience in performance management and sharing feedback aiming at engaging others towards results;
• Clear and effective communication skills in Dutch and English;
• Analytical and conceptual skills;
• Ability to build relationships with other departments to coordinate activities with other departments in an engaging way / no silo mentality;
• Willing to work in a shift in 4 week schedule. (early shift - day shift - dayshift - late shift)
