For our client, an international company in Venlo, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic

Freight Forwarder

In this position you take care of an effcient and cost-conscious transport planning of their customers. Together with your 13 colleagues, you are responsisble for correct administration and registration. Are you thé specialist in transportplanning? You are good in English, German and/or Dutch languages? Then read our vacancy!

Your responsibilities:

• Process orders from customers and the follow up in the TMS sustem;
• Combining transport orders;
• Being single point of contact for carriers and customers;
• Optimizing the planning;
• Give instructions and follow up to drivers and/or subcontractors in several languages;
• Daily gathering of market knowledge in order to make the right deciscion;
• Buying and selling loads.

• A finished MBO (commerce, administration, logistics);
• Interested in transport and logistics;
• Good communication skills (both in written and spoken in English);
• Experience using Microsoft Office,;
• Knowlegde of means of transport, market prices and legislation and regulations, otherwise there are possibilities to follow an internal training;
• You know how to work within a structured and accurate manner;
• You have good geographic knowledge;
• Fulltime availible.
