We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Lead to join our team on the INBOUD-department in Venlo, Netherlands, on a fixed-term contract. This role is essential in administering and operating our warehouse, including the processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations and a strong understanding of logistic processes.

Task and responsibilities:

  • Ensure and assign sufficient resources for warehouse activities.
  • Coordinate training and compliance with legal, company, and EHS regulations.
  • Streamline warehouse operations to balance service and efficiency.
  • Handle warehouse administration, including documentation and time registration.
  • Be the Single Point of Contact for operational escalations.
  • Support supervisor with employee feedback, operational decision-making, and staff development.
  • Promote a clean, safe, and positive work environment.
  • Participate in operations-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain warehouse SOPs in line with ISO13485.
  • Ensure effective space utilization and protection of facilities and equipment.

Function requirements

You have at least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably with specialized education or training in logistics and experience in indirect management.

Also experience in:

  • Coordinating warehouse activities and resources.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, company, and EHS regulations.
  • Supporting staff development and coaching.
  • Handling warehouse administration and reporting.
  • Managing and improving operational efficiency and service levels.
  • We value leadership skills and teamwork, and we are seeking someone who has an MBO degree or higher or equivalent. Fluency in English is a must, and we are looking for someone who is stress-resistant, flexible, and able to collaborate with other departments.
